Team Katusha per GP Samyn e West Vlaanderen
Il Team Katusha parteciperà al GP Samyn del 4 marzo e alla West Vlaanderen dal 6 all’8 marzo con le seguenti formazioni:
GP Samyn. Kenny Dehaes, Denis Galimzyanov, Alexey Markov, Nikolai Trusov, Danilo Napolitano, Maxime Vantomme, Gennady Mikhaylov, Alexander Serov.
West Vlaanderen. Kenny Dehaes, Denis Galimzyanov, Alexey Markov, Nikolai Trusov, Danilo Napolitano, Maxime Vantomme, Ivan Rovny, Alexander Serov.

WEYLANDT WINS THE G.P. SAMYN
8th victory of the season for team QUICK STEP
Wouter Wylandt won the GP Samyn today, a day marked by lousy weather, reaching the 8th season victory for team QUICK STEP. This is the 1st seasonal win for the young rider from Gent.
The race took place in windy rain, with temperatures near zero. The high point came at the start of the local circuit, when a group of 9 riders, including Weylandt, broke out ahead of the group. During the last lap, about 7 k from the finish line, Bjorn Leukemans was on the attack, with Weylandt hot on his wheels. The two lead riders were closely followed by Remi Cusin, who was trying an attack with 3 kilometres left in the race. Weylandt responded immediately to the Frenchman’s attack and set himself up for the final sprint.
“I’m very happy with this victory – said Weylandt - It’s as if I’ve won a bet with myself after last week’s bad results. I’d like to dedicate this win to my friend Nolf, who passed away way too soon. I wanted this victory for him. Now I’m planning to race in the Drie Daagse Van West Vlaanderen. I hope I do as well there.
It was also a lucky start for sporting director Rik Verbrugghe. “It was a very tough race for the riders - explains Verbrugghe - I’m really happy for Wouter. He responded to some less than optimal performances by making the most of his pedals on a day for true diehards.”

mi sa che non c'è streaming a quanto ho trovato in giro per la rete ci dovrebbe essere una sintesi alle 1830 su un canale belga sport west extra ____________________
Se si è ritirato Bewolcic si possono ritirare tutti...

Ottavo è arrivato Theo Bos. E' riuscito a finire una corsa ehehehe (la prima non vale, era un criterium  ) ____________________

Sconosciuti? Bah... 4° è arrivato Ista (2° all'Het Volk qualche giorno fa), poi nei 10 ci sono Bos e Van Dijk, e nei 20 c'è anche un certo Forster, che qualche tappa nei GT l'ha vinta... ____________________

Napolitano è secondo in Belgio
Continua il momento d'oro del Team Katusha e di Danilo Napolitano che dopo la vittoria di ieri ha colto oggi, nell’ultima frazione della tre giorni delle Fiandre Occidentali, un altro piazzamento di prestigio. Si è, infatti, classificato secondo alle spalle di Wouter Weylandt.
Danilo Napolitano: “Oggi ha vinto chi aveva più gambe. La gara è stata durissima e alla fine anche noi della Katusha eravamo rimasti solo in tre. Allo sprint mi sono arrangiato, ma ottenere di più era, onestamente, difficile. Comunque mi presento alla Tirreno Adriatico con una buona condizione”.
La vittoria finale è andata all'olandese Johnny Hoogerland, vincitore della frazione inaugurale.
