Al GP Samyn si è classificato quinto Staf Scheirlinkx, che tutti ricordiamo trionfatore sul terribile GPM del Monte Catria durante la settima tappa dello scorso Giro d'Italia, la Cesena-Saltara vinta dal suo compagno di squadra Verbrugghe.
Questo ragazzo belga che farà 28 anni proprio domenica, sta dimostrando un buon stato di forma, si era già piazzato sul gradino più basso del podio al GP Ouverture in Francia il 6 febbraio.
Gli auguro di raggiungere qualche risultato importante in questa stagione.

SUPER CASPER TAKES THREE WINS LAST WEEK
Jimmy Casper (Unibet.com) has won the final general classification of Driedaagse van West-Vlaanderen yesterday. Casper managed to keep the lead in the third and final stage won by Wouter Weylandt (Quickstep-Innergetic) in a bunch sprint.
Just like yesterday's stage, the Unibet.com ProTour team had to control the entire race to protect Jimmy Casper's lead position in the general classification. "The riders did an excellent job and perfectly kept Casper in front", said Unibet.com team leader Hilaire Van der Schueren.
This Driedaagse van West-Vlaanderen has been extremely successful for the Frenchman of Unibet.com. Casper won the first stage in a bunch sprint, finished second in stage 2 and took the overall win on Sunday.
Earlier this week, he was already victorious in the GP le Samyn (Wednesday March 7th). Casper was the best of a select lead group and out-sprinted Philippe Gilbert (Française des Jeux) and Bastiaan Giling (Team Wiesenhof). Gorik Gardeyn (Unibet.com) was tenth.
"This is a brilliant victory for the team", said Casper after winning the GP Le Samyn. "I felt really good today and won the sprint rather easily. This is the best way to respond to the current participation problems with the ProTour."
