My name is Tom Vandenbussche, 19 years old supporter from Pavel Tonkov, from Belgium.
For the moment, I am searching his results when he was junior and "dilettante". That means the years between 1987 and 1992. Four years ago, I began to search and it's not simply to find his 110 victories by the youth and all the other results!
I hope you can help me a bit with my research!
Pavel rode many races in Italy when he was "dilletante" and also junior (the World Championships in Bergamo 1987)... I don't know if you have information about this years?
I think on races like the Giro delle Regioni 1990, Giro di Lazio 1990, Settimana Bergamasca 1992 + 1994 + 1996 + 1998, Giro d'Italia, Trofeo Scalatore, ...
The Italian newspapers from these years must have articles from these races, surely from the World Championships in Bergamo in July of 1987! You know some newspapers: email, journalists, website, ... ?
Maybe you know other people who can help me with this 'problem' ?
